You’ve been asked to form an internal company task force to look at enterprise-wide privacy issues, identify problem areas, and address, or develop a plan to address, those problem areas. Where do you start? What is “privacy”? Is it the same thing as data security? Who should be on the task force and what is your charter? What are potential problem areas? This presentation will provide a starting point and road map. It will focus on domestic, privately-held entities not in the financial services area, but the principle presented will be applicable beyond only this type of organization.
