In 2011, a change in executive leadership prompted Information Technology at the University of Oklahoma to set a new vision and direction for their organization. With numerous vacant positions, they developed a recruiting strategy aligned with the culture they hoped to create. This session will outline the components needed for a successful recruiting strategy that can help you drive organizational change.
Jeralyn Woodall is the Assistant Vice-President for Business Planning, Fiscal Management, and Talent and serves as the Chief Talent Officer for Information Technology at the University of Oklahoma. Her responsibilities include Human Resources for the IT organization as well as leading Business Operations and the Project Portfolio Office.
Jeralyn has 15 years of experience in strategic workforce planning, talent sourcing, talent recruiting, on-boarding, leadership development, career development, student internship programs, and customer service programs. She works closely with the Vice-President for Information Technology and CIO as well as the Executive Leadership Team to strategically prepare OU IT's workforce for current and future business challenges and to establish a dynamic, collaborative environment that promotes the organization's core values of generosity, respect, enthusiasm, adaptability, and truthfulness.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Jeralyn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Administrative Leadership. She has worked for the University for 29 years and during her tenure, has served in a variety of roles including Director of Enterprise Applications, Director of Operations and Director of Talent and Organizational Programs.
