Learning and Development in the 4th Industrial Revolution

Presentation Summary:

The digital revolution is transforming the nature of work as well as the skills employees need to do their jobs. Learning professionals need to adopt new methods to support the digital transformation journey, helping employees to develop new skills while driving continuous learning. This session will highlight how DXC Technology is using analytics, Agile development, and other innovative learning systems and environments to transform capabilities in the workforce.


Presenter Bio:

Michael Trusty is currently Head of DXC University where he is responsible for all learning and development activities for DXC Technology’s 160,000 employees.

Previously Mike was the Director of Global Talent Management for CSC. Before joining CSC he held multiple positions with Rolls-Royce plc with responsibility for talent management, learning, strategic workforce planning, and recruitment. Mike also held multiple HR roles at Bank of America, and he began his career at Anheuser-Busch.

Mike received an M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and a Bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University. He currently lives in Northern Virginia with his wife, Monica, and two sons, Alex and Nicholas. He enjoys music, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
