The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Thus, when organizations aren’t happy with their performance we do something called ‘Organizational Transformation
The idea behind these transformations is to create change that leads to different, and preferably, better, results. Real Transformations occur when something requires a holistic change – think disrupters. Examples of drivers of real transformation are things like the move to digital online retail; healthcare delivery; driverless cars; or a large merger or acquisition. Those changes truly call for transformation of the organization and how it does business. Today, change is a constant, but without good diligence, problems can add up and drive the need for Transformation. By responding to change, with a few lessons learned and a “Mindset of Continuous Improvement; Continuous Learning; and, Agility,” leaders can make each day transformative and save the real Organizational Transformations for the scenarios that truly require it.
DeeAnne joined Greif in May, 2015, as SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer, to serve the over 13,000 colleagues based at 200 sites, in over 50 countries around the world, who provide industrial packaging solutions for a breadth of industries.
Prior to joining Grief, DeeAnne spent 7 years as a leader for Cummins, Inc., where she was responsible for Human Resources for the Global Power Generation business segment, and all Cummins operations in 2 regions – Central American and the Middle East – comprised of multiple manufacturing facilities, sales, engineering technical centers and general management/support. She was also responsible for Marketing & Sales capability development and succession across Cummins.
Prior to Cummins, DeeAnne held leadership roles of increasing responsibility with companies such as GE, SC Johnson, and Principal Financial, where she gained experience in a diverse set of industries including Consumer Products, Financial Services, Diversified Industrials and Healthcare.
DeeAnne is a servant leader with a proven diverse and progressive track record of success. She serves on the Board of Directors for Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio, and chairs the Strategic Planning Committee. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees for CAPA (Columbus Association for the Performing Arts)
